So I got this RGV projector from a friend awhile back. I got it for 200$ because the red diode was dead. Well I finally got around to putting a red diode it.
The thing is.. is that I found a random red diode in my laser box. I thought/hoped it was a single mode like a lpc 826. Well it wasnt. It was the mitts 500!!! I was wondering where that went. which is great its super bright but I dont have any corrective optics for it. You always ask for more red in a projector and I got it.
So heres a pic after what seemed like forever getting this guy properly aligned.
Thats not a lamp making that light. its a white-ish beam a lil on the redish purple side. I wonder why ha!!
I threw in a couple other pics too. you can see the fat beam in the rainbow circle for red.
Yes my phone sucks and mega washout! you get the idea.
