Recommendation for industrial duty laser line pointer

I am looking for any information/suggestions I can get on a laser line pointer, preferably 12mm in diameter, that would be well suited for use in helping to layout materials in an industrial manufacturing environment. The laser needs to be able to last in ~120 degrees F ambient environment. We've had pretty mixed results in the past as far as longevity of the laser is concerned, especially for what some of them cost (6 months of useful life for a laser that was around $300 did not inspire confidence in that source). Open to suggestion on the power range - they are projecting a line onto a black or dark grey surface from about 6 feet away.

Any advice would be appreciated.
