Greetings people who are smarter then me... Outdoor line laser

Looking for some advice or ideas

A few days a week I break out four bricks 50 feet of string and I mark out a square in spray paint for asphalt and pavement repair around a pothole typical sizes 10 feet by 10 feet

Is there a laser that would be battery powered that I could attach to some kind of rig? Turn it on spray paint my lines and move on to the next patch.

I am currently building something that will utilize two retractable dog leashes but I would love to use lasers

From the quick reading that I have done it sounds like lasers and sunlight do not play well together, my question is there a setup that could safely do this? It appears the power is possible but the fear of eye damage is a main concern

I thank you smart people for pointing me in the right direction and probably saving me some money. I already tried to buy a tile laser layout it looks great indoors but take it outside and the lines are invisible.

Ideally I would have 2 lasers that projected a 90 degree angle each I make the square spray paint the sides and move on
