Ttl

Hello, from what I understand TTL is basically changing the frequency of the laser to make deeper or lighter engravings and cuts, but can you use TTL to increase the default pulse frequency in a laser to make it more powerful?
For example, the laser I bought came with a wall adapter. If I were to TTL the laser, could I get a higher pulse frequency than with it being connected to a 12v 5a wall adapter?
