Gday LPF
This host was originally going to be another BDR 206 build but I lost the diode
And decided to use the Opnext diode I had sitting around for a while.
I had a old linear driver that was set to 950ma from an old Oclaro build
And I had a new linear driver set to 150ma using one of the resistors from the old driver I added to the new driver and managed to get 190ma
Initially was intending to drive this diode around 300ma but plans don't always
Work out the way you want. 200ma is the suggested current so 190ma isn't to bad for now.
Both of the heatsinks I made out of parts from those cheap 303 green lasers, the key lock is the diode heatsink and the battery contact from the head of the 303, a lot of work fileing and sanding on the drill press and end result 2 screw
In pieces perfect for a complete laser.
The host I had bought on eBay a while back for about $35 it has a great clicky
I'm not sure we're the belt clip got to.
I'm using a two element AR coated for red glass lens not much different to the
Acrilc with both the dot is perfect as good as a DPSS.
Thanks for looking guys!
