I just found this old halogen lamp and I thought about installing a remote controlled RGB LED bulb to either light up my room or to set a specific mood :)

I found hundreds of led bulbs on ebay but since it will sit inside the parabolic dish the IR remote might not work ?!
Also, I don´t really know how much watts to use to fully iluminate the room since the light will be projected to the sealing.
On the other hand, I have experince with lasers and drivers, maybe I could buy a RGB LED chip + Driver with IR remote and DIY the thing :)
