Hi guys
I'm pretty sure no one has seen the insides of a Rigel pen so I decided to operate, the purpose is to build a custom Pen, CNI has definitely built these pens tough, not only is there glue everywhere but after they slide the main module in they glue the driver support so the driver and button won't come loose and then insert a smaller brass tube three the rear to stop batteries rattling and glue that to, The best part though is all the lenses optics and crystals are screwed in tightly and only one just above the crystal is adjustable by pushing the lens alloy support from 3 small wholes in the sides in order to align, this alignment needs to be so spot on that if not there is nothing but IR light or a little green, Very nicely constructed!
I'm afraid there is no other way to extract this module but to sacrifice the brass pen and peal it like a sardine can!
I'm not sure what kind of pump diode they use but it's tiny with a bit of copper and a small screw not a normal diode it can't be very powerful either the module doesn't get that warm though I've only had it on for 5 seconds at a time,
If anyone knows witch way would make sense to turn the power up on the pump diode I would love to know!
