Need some urgent help please, takes a while for Adam to reply from DL so received the PGL-H-589 module with 3v driver last week and today received the PGL-III-C housing with lens, once again there usual lens is glued to the side but not important write now what is important is the module fits the host perfectly and easily even though Adam was positive a customer would not be able to assemble the host, he told me they use a special machine to press the module in but it's obviously a touch loose bad for heatsinking and took me about 5min to assemble, My issue at the moment is I'm not sure what batterie I should be using if this module is made perfectly for this host it's obvious it needs a 18650 battery but I have herd I need CR2, When I first powered the module I used a 18650 bat that had 3.5v left it was fine that is the first pic on the wall without collimation also 2nd pic at the Ophir witch showed some reading, then third pic with the host assembled and a 4.1 v 18650 with beam colimated the metre didn't even register even though it usually hovers at 30-40mw am I using the wrong battery I'm afraid to turn the laser back on after seeing the beam so faint
It was definitely brighter before, rechecked the battery and still at 4.1v it's an IMR any help really appreciated, this was a difficult time to get both packages to Australia and it's getting stressful!
