I've never built a laser setup for engraving or cutting, but from what I've read the S06J 12x 405 is a good option for precision engraving and cutting.
I reached out to DTR for a suggested TTL driver and Jordan had no recommendation. I could purchase the entire setup from J-Tech but I was hoping to save a bit of cash (aren't we all :D)
Side notes: I'm looking to engrave on wood, and possibly cut PCB stencils.
My CNC is a shapeoko 3 XL.
