I have never gotten a clear answer to my question: do 405nm and/or 445nm laser diodes emit ultraviolet light? I assume many 405nm and 445nm laser diodes are multimode, meaning more than one wavelength of light is produced. (UVA begins at 400nm.) Do these diodes produce UV light? Are these diodes harmful to us (our skin) or are they completely safe? I know UVA is not extremely dangerous compared to UVB, but still, what are the risks? Thanks
