Hello, I don't have the proper resources to do a full review so I'll just put this here. I recently bought this laser from LPF member Alex2893 for $60
The details:
520nm 200mw+ Scifi 501b Laser
Push button on tailcap
G2 lens
It takes 2 16340 batteries. i am using 2 efest 16340's.
It arrived in about 3 days from the time I sent him payment through paypal. We both live in the US so it was quick delivery.
It has a very nice beam, and can burn dark colored plastic bags/wrappers
The beam is very visible in low light and dark areas. Outside at night the beam is fantastic.
He said it is 200+mw. I don't know the exact mw. It is very bright. I will try and get a better beam shot later on at night.
I don't know much about the diode or driver and heatsink. Maybe Alex has more info he can share?
Over all I am pleased with it. a nice find for a low price. Am I mistaken or don't 200mw 520's usually go for a lot more moola? It is used and a resell so I can see it being sold for less. A great deal I feel none the less. Thanks Alex :beer:
