Hello! Just getting into the laser hobby and decided to buy a Spartan 1 Watt from DragonLasers. What an incredible device! It arrived faster than my batteries, quite surprised by that. As my batteries were only 2 states away!
Anyway, I finally received my batteries and popped them in. This thing is incredible! About a week later, I pick up the laser, turn it on, only to find out it is pretty much useless now. The beam has a diameter of about a foot at a distance of 10 feet! Instead of being nice and round, it has gone full pancake mode on me! Not exactly sure why it did this? Tried a new set of batteries and no change. Could the lens be damaged or even the diode?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
