I'm in the middle of building a blue ray laser for a television show that wants to show how blu-ray dvd players can be hacked. (Don't worry: I'm making sure all safety info is disclosed.)
The problem I've run into is that the producers contacted me at the very last minute and I need to have this built in the next four days... I don't have a 405nm laser driver on hand, but I can only seem to find them in China on ebay - which will take too long to ship here. I could build one, but they aren't paying me enough for that kind of work...
Does anyone have a recommendation for a driver that can get the most power out of the LG Electronics WH16NS40 diode? (thanks for the details on its operating power guys: http://laserpointerforums.com/f38/mu...ner-87919.html)
My ideal would be an adjustable 0-1A constant current driver that I can get overnight shipped.
